Back in the Studio!

Howdy friends and neighbors!

Wanted to let y'all know we've officially started working on the next record. We spent this past weekend at Old House Studios in Charlotte, NC laying down the basic tracks for the next record with Mark Williams again producing. The production mixes were great, and we're really excited about the new record. Tom will be adding fiddle tracks in the coming weeks, then it's on to the next stage. We're planning on a Jan/Feb 2017 release.

We'll keep you posted on how things are coming along! Meanwhile, if y'all are anywhere near Bryson City, NC this weekend, come on out to Nantahala Brewing Company Saturday night (7/30). We'll be there, and it's gonna be a large time!

Single "No Work, No Pay" Listed #15 Folk Single for 2015!

Two singles from the self-titled 2015 release made it onto the Roots Music Report Top 200 Folk Singles of 2015. "No Work, No Pay" was ranked as number 15 for the year, and "Cold Water River" was ranked as number 60. The singles joined other tunes by Jason Isbell, James Taylor, Rhiannon Gibbons, Mark Knoplfer, the Indigo girls and others in the Top 20 selections. The EP was also ranked #63 in the Roots Music Report Top 200 Folk Albums of 2015.

The EP enjoyed airplay rotation at over 60 Americana, NPR, and Triple A radio stations across the US.

The title track of the second EP, "Front Porch" also charted at #103 in the Americana Country Top 200 of 2015. We were especailly excited about that, as the radio promotion for the second EP didn't start until late October, so the tunes had a limited amount of airplay time to chart. The EP is currently in rotation at over 85 Americana, NPR, and Triple A radio stations across the US.

And, we've already scheduled studio time for our next release! We'll be back at Old House studios in July of 2016, tracking with Mark Williams and Chris Garges in the booth!
